An art born at a crossroads of civilisations and languages: geometry from al-Andalus, the Amazigh hand, colours out of the south, tools from the Mediterranean. None of it was made in a museum, and none of it stayed in one.
You have already touched it. The tile under your feet in the riad, the tagine on the table, the rug you photographed and did not understand. None of it is a souvenir. All of it is still being made, a few streets from where you are standing.
